 Early Numeracy @ School

The Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) in partnership with the Association of Educational Service Districts has developed a document aligning the expectations and guidelines for early numeracy for ages 0-Grade 3.  Using the Early Learning Development Guidelines, TS Gold, and the Common Core State Standards, these Learning Pathways in Numeracy help early childhood educators determine appropriate skills for the children they work with.  These pathways are extremely helpful in aligning not just curriculum and assessments, but expectations for developmentally appropriate activities at home and in the classroom.
