Knowng that family engagement is the key to success is the hallmark of the national Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and this website is a great example of how the national organization can help support families in nurturing their children's skills and abilities in a wide variety of STEM activities.  Comprehensive lists of materials and instructions are given in this highly engaging and interactive experiences.  Children can choose from such challenges as making invisible ink or pretending to create potions.  Vocabulary words, background knowledge, and guiding questions are provided in English and Spanish for families to use at home.  In addition, there are additional links which lead families to thousands of other STEM activities.  There is enough here to keep children and their grown-ups busy for countless hours.
